I see this both ways, fat shaming is out of control and defending fat is out of control

what was considered just a little fat or soft is now "obese" There is also this misconception that skinny or thin = healthy. However, being depressed because you're fat is stupid...change something if you don't like it.

Penn and Teller did a great episode on this. They show a closeup of a black/white photo of a good looking guy with cheekbones, you think surely it's a model, they pan back and it is revealed to be a depression era dirt farmer..."you see those cheek bones, that perfect form...it's because he's starving"

I'm 5'11 and 168 lbs so don't fat shame me
