and 2007 is a huge joke:
Colston: 98rec 1202yds 11tds
the Pro Bowlers:
Fitzgerald: 100rec 1409yds 10tds
Owens 81rec 1355yds 15tds
T. Holt: 93rec 1189yds 7tds
Driver: 82rec 1048yds 2tds
Fail on my part.
2007 pro bowl = 2006 stats...what a country

you're looking at the wrong year. you're looking at Colston's 2007 numbers and the 2006 pro bowlers, which played in the pro bowl in 2007

at least 2012.
Colston had 83rec 1155yds and 11tds
Fitzy had 71 rec 798yds and 4tds
I think you're looking at the wrong year.

Its a popularity contest mostly.

so what this article is saying is that HALF of our starters are elite or potentially elite and an addition 3 or 4 starters we think could be on that list (i.e. - Hicks, Ingram, etc)

Unless there's a major change, the Pro Bowl may die due to natural causes. More and more players are opting out and people have quit going to it. It'll be interesting to see what happens this year as it will be played in Phoenix a week before the Superbowl is played there. If the game isn't close to a sell out, you might be reading about it in the obituaries.
