re: Generation Kill was a great show

I was in the Marines. I would say that Generation Kill is the most accurate description of how Marines really act that I've ever seen. The show is filled with jokes that you probably wouldn't get if you weren't in. I laugh my arse off every time I watch it.

Fun Fact: Fruity Rudy played himself. Apparently they brought him on as a technical advisor and then asked him to play himself because they couldn't find anyone as good looking and ripped as he was that was also fricking weird enough to play him.
