Islandtiger, couple of questions

Is this on the bus route?
I know parking lot is not gated but the building is, how's that working out?
How is management?
Did you child have her own room mates or did she get placed?
Any other info?
TIA

Hilarious they renamed it "the edge" even though it's the same old joint.

No, this is a new place. It was built last year.

I wouldn't live at either of those places. With two new complexes over there Ben Hur is about to become a huge clusterfrick.

I agree man. I lived in Lake Beau Pre all 4 years and loved it bc no traffic and easy to get to school.

Cottages and Woodlands are definitely the popping places to be. Don't schedule any classes before 9:30 and you won't deal with traffic going to class

That place is definitely gonna be a shite show with the edge being built. The idea is to add a light to that intersection at some points but at the rate that the nicholson project is going it will probably be in 6 years

We were shocked at how much. A friend of my daughter called her when we were looking for a place and told her it was $900. Well, I thought that wasn't bad per month if they split it. Then we found out that it was per person. It just wasn't for her. We owned 2 businesses, so my daughter knows how we think about the dollars. But again, they are very nice. It really comes down to what you are comfortable with and willing to live with. Everything has it's positives and negatives.

You can get in a nice 3 or 4 bedroom apartment for ~600 a piece and even some other alright ones for around ~400

The place I lived was 1500 sqr ft 2 story townhome that came with a yard and covered parking in a gated community and rent was ~700 a month.

Smartest move if you ask me is to buy a place in Lake Beau Pre and then sell it after your kid graduates. People are always wanting to buy there because it's nice and safe and close to campus.
