At this point I have no way of knowing why without physically working with the machine myself. You've probably messed with stuff without disclosing it here. It may still be unstable, or there was simply a loose power connection somewhere.
Start throwing stress tests at it. Prime95 Blend is a good start.

Maybe i was shorting myself out somewhere?
You see, when I finally got through the whole windows instillation i did it by not even screwing in my MB - just let it sit there... maybe i was screwing it in too tight and i lost connection somewhere?
