I don't have cable so didn't see the show. So they poured a pint of regular beer, then poured the last dregs of a sour into the pint and drank it? This post was edited on 8/20 at 10:23 pm
And then they poured all the beer back into the bayou after they yelled cut.
IMO the show came out better than I expected.

Fwiw, Rouge and I met a guy that is pitching a beer show to a couple channels (he did a pilot at Deschutes) and unfortunately they have to put in a lot of the fluff and scripted bullshite.
I'm sure most of us would rather them just go record legit conversations with bar owners, patrons, and breweries, but unfortunately that's not what appeals to a broader audience.
Without that scripted awkwardness, the cable execs won't let it sniff the air. They say it's too "beer nerdy".
ETA - Brew Dogs does get away with a lot more of the beer nerd talk because they compensate with the "crazy" brewing methods that appease simpletons.
