Does this shock anyone?

I thought trophies for everyone would be more of a white liberal thing...did not expect the blax to lean that way.

ETA: And how do they define "kids". 4-6 year old kids barely know wtf is going on in-game, rarely the score and have no idea what their record is at season end. Parents know but kids don't so a trophy is meaningless to them.

I agree. I seriously doubt minorities favor trophies for everyone. Let's keep it really real here. Poor minorities do not have the political cache to initiate policy change.

Keeping it really real poor minorities have more pressing things to worry about than everyone receiving a trophy. Plus they know life is not fair. They poor AND minorities.

Keeping it really, really real. Which group of kids is more likely to need participation trophies in sports. Suburban white kids or inner city black kids.
