I've never been, but it seems like a beautiful place. If you could make an easy transition back to civilization then I don't see why you shouldn't seriously consider the move.

Yes, actually. Talked to a college roommate's brother, just to see how he was doing, and he offered me a gig. Hippies do crazy shite, you know.

I have a farm, so that is really my biggest concern. I could hire someone to run it (though probably not as well as I could), but it's not like I would lose it in the interim.
