I've read a lot of complaints about the FP models. Plus the capacity in the 2 drawers seems to be lower. I'm glad to hear good things about the Kitchenaid and Bosch models since that is where I'm leaning. I like the looks and quiet of my Samsung, so I would like to keep with a super quiet model with hidden controls.

A friend of mine recently experienced a house fire due to her dishwasher catching on fire. I now make it a point not to run my dishwasher unless I am home.

We bought a Bosch Ascenta a few months ago and love it. Very quiet and cleans like crazy.
