Is it racist? I think not, but I've been told white flight is racist.
I've been mulling how I'd feel and what exactly I'd be doing if Ferguson was 10-20 miles from where I live. It makes it a hell of a lot more real when it's in your back yard. It's easy to pretend that a race riot is no real threat when you are a thousand miles away.
