LSU-UK had more of a history than UF-LSU at the time of discontinuing 2 perms. Never made sense to me that the longer series was discontinued for a forced "rival".

Especially when one considers that when the switch was made, going back to 1990, LSU beat the Gators once. Quite a competitive series we had there.
