Isn't the CT that they give you capped on range now?
I have a god tier party crasher. It's not as good as the CT that you get at the start of Taken King. The only shotgun that can still consistently snipe is a CT. Or a Felwinters, Matador, Y1 party crasher.

Also, exhumed is just an awful perk. You have to die to take advantage of it.
