Don't know why the other thread got the anchor but this is huge. Two guys in this class at 6'2" or taller would be awesome to help replace Rashard and Tre after they leave following their junior seasons.
If the staff could move Donte Jackson away from his Georgia love and convince Campbell to leave Florida, this DB class would just be insane

If Elam selects LSU, does that have a negative effect on Donte Jackson's recruitment? I think we need all 3 corners of Toliver, Elam, and Jackson. Where does that leave the staff with DeShawn Raymond and/or Justin Reid?

It doesn't affect elam because Jackson is being sold on the honey badger role.

justin reid isn't going to get an offer unless something crazy happens. i hate to say it but that's the fact

quote:No complaints; I trust the staff with these decisions. Our defensive backfield must have the potential to be all-world in that case. Thanks Red!

I think if Henry leaves and we whiff on Campbell, I think Raymond starts taking a longer look at Reid. He may be one of those senior season offers

henry will play linebacker imo

that and i don't think he is quite fast enough to play safety

Same reason why I think Xavier Lewis is bumped back to safety. Doesn't have the hips for a CB but could be a very solid safety for us

yep, he's very physical too...would make a stud safety. Lewis is probably a 4.57 guy which is fast enough for safety but probably not for corner

Unless we have some open spots before signing day

@Sheadixon: Texas DB Roney Elam will choose #LSU or #TAMU today at noon.
I thought Texas was all over this kid. Is Elam just down to two now?
