hey LSUtoo, quick question.
I can get the SSD drive for $40-50 cheaper for going with the 128GB
can I get by with that or do you recommend the 256? just running 8.1 64 bit off of it, that's it

So he's working on showing you how to do this, and knowing how thorough ILikeLSUToo is, he's going to teach you how to take the larger (in capacity) HDD and use it as a second "storage" drive for things like pictures and songs. 128GB would probably be enough anyway, but with an additional drive for storage, it will absolutely be plenty.
FWIW, I'm running my OS (Win 8.1) on a 32GB SSD in my current desktop. I then have 5.2 TB of HDD space also inside the machine.
