Also, I will point out that Magneto and Charles Xavier's lifelong friendship despite being at literal war with one another is a lot easier to explain if there is a romantic/sexual component to it. It is certainly passionate and lifelong, and both men are romantically unentangled.

while i concede you can see some of this, how does the story involving raven/mystique fit into this?
