The French definitely hate us... no doubt. Traveled there and stayed with a french family in St Germain.
Id say countries like Pakistan, Somalia and Iran hate us the most...

The French just think they're better than us. They don't really hate us. I've got multiple French friends, and they're fun enough to be around. Hang around a Pakistani, and you'll realize those people loathe us entirely.

They really don't, in general. I went to Paris in 2002 and all was great. It's a big city and people aren't usually gonna go out of their way to be friendly, just like in NYC or LA.
