For as much "inside info" you have in the golf world, your knowledge sure doesn't show on the msb

It's not just some tournament. It's a freaking major. Where these 20 guys probably couldn't even pull the club back for the entire first round. This isn't the brec championship.

exactly, I would brag about it back at the home club, but I certainly wouldn't be under the illusion that I went head to head with Tiger and "won". Some number of club pros score better than accomplished touring pros in every PGA. Their "accomplishment" is much more about what Tiger shot vs. what they shot.

Who said anyone went head to head? The point is they beat Tiger. 2nd best golfer of all time.

I don't know how you could come to this conclusion. You are just choosing to view it this way. There's no reason to see it like that.

relatively speaking, they shot what the top club pros score every year, Tiger's missed 4 cuts in majors in his career. And since they weren't playing head-to-head, this anecdote is much more due to the way Tiger played than the way these 5 played. What they did is cool, no doubt, but it's something you brag about at the bar, nothing more, nothing less...

I also forgot to share that I understand what the OP is saying. When I was like 13 I beat a NCAA runner-up and recent web.com tourney winner. I still brag about it

Lol I beat Jeff Quinney and Bubba Dickerson in a buy.com qualifying. Even tho I missed by 6 I still brag about that. Lol
