Leave the pit in on the side you're saving and squeeze lemon or lime juice on it. Store in ziplock.

lime juice (real stuff) and plastic wrap. Put the wrap on the guac directly and make sure no air gets in. It will be green on day 2.

Yep, then drain off when you're ready to eat. I always overestimate on guac and end up doing this.
