The First Amendment prohibits FEDGOV from respecting an establishment of religion (i.e., no national church that all are compelled to support), which by the 14th Amendment is extended to the states.
And yes, employers can't let Christians take off every holy day they want but prohibit the Muslims from doing likewise.
I guess after the church bulletin discount, the next one will be the veterans/active military/first responders discounts.
