I posted about how I never had any real instruction until high school and had to break bad habits I taught myself from the time I started playing when I was a little kid. And you said:

If a kid never has any instruction and they are teaching themselves, they will develop bad habits.

That's all I'm saying.

For example.. my shot, while pretty good, could not improve anymore because I was not shooting properly. There was a ceiling.

It took a long time to break the old habit and change my shooting form to the proper form to the point where it became second nature and I actually improved past where I was before I changed my shot.

If I would have been shooting properly from the start, I would have put in so many more reps with good form and would have been an even better shooter.
