isnt the capacitor usually for the outside fan and compressor? first thing you should do is put the fan selector switch in on position instead of auto and see if it comes on. probably a control board or something if it doesnt come on when the switch is in on position.

Systems are different. Look around and see.

On the outside compressor, there are capacitors on some as part of a hard start kit that not all systems need.

But blower motors and fan motors have them too.

Yeah. The fan doesn't turn on when I switch it to on. Is that a tstat or controll panel?
