Apparently not enough to trust her with the awesome administrative decision of voiding an obviously mistaken transaction on the receipt.

Though I have noticed they don't do this crap at Rouse's - they actually have the power! Maybe they do in other stores now perhaps things have changed. I would think a good computer algorithm could spot the cashiers who are voiding to steal.

You do realize this is to prevent employees from ringing up a "customer" who "pays with cash", then voiding it and giving a "refund" to themselves, right?
