If it takes the kids that long to know where they want to go, then so be it. I don't like when kids decommit cause that defeats the purpose of a commitment.
Now if they know and they are doing it for attention, I think it is pretty backward to wait. Once committed, you can start to work on other great players and help bring in a great recruiting class.
If a player is coming to win championships, then committing early and working other recruits seems like the most obvious answer. If they are waiting because they like being wine and dined then waiting seems a little egocentric. I'm okay with them waiting though rather than committing early and then switching commitments.
