You make think physical attractiveness is trivial and superficial, but it's very important. It's true that looks do not last forever; however, if she is not attractive to you now, she will not become more attractive to you as time passes. Do not base your relationship purely on looks, but do not dismiss considering looks as being a shallow person either. If you and your GF are getting serious and you're not physically attracted to her, you're setting both of y'all up for failure...
