Forgings come from Brazil and are used to finish the nicest models, while other models are made entirely in Brazil.
Its relevant to any conversation if you are to compare an American made firearm to something that is not.

Well in that case I also have an American made Springfield. I thought you were saying you have one that is completely American made, which if you include the frame none are. So yes it is relevant and American made, not including the frame forgings.
