It would be historically ironic and deja vu as hell if SCOTUS took the Virginia case to strike down gay marriage bans nation wide. They have a choice of taking cases from Utah, Oklahoma, or Virginia for the 2014 term.
Imo, Gay marriage on SCOTUS will probably be 6-3 or 7-2 in favor of but it wouldn't be surprising for it to be unanimous as well like loving was.

Doubt it would be unanimous. Scalia would rather stick a hot poker in his eye. Plus you have to add Thomas as against since he does whatever Scalia does.
