I think people are overrating thanksgiving with "extended" family.... Me my brothers, uncles, dad would much rather be at a football game then sitting in front of a tv together.

Well good for you, guess what, you are lucky, not everyone's family is like that, some people travel not just to visit family, but on vacation, an Aggie friend of mine is going to Disney World for Thanksgiving week since his kids are off all week.
