As I got older and began to think and question things, the idea of religion became silly. Science makes more sense, actually all sense, and it's in science I appreciate the world.
Pretty full blown atheist, as is my wife, though we don't judge others who are Christian. Two of our very good friends are devout Catholics and they try to get us to go to church, but we always politely refuse.
I am very knowledgeable of the bible and love to discuss it with those who are Christian. 99% of the time debates end in a friendly and civil way.
All the time I've spent in church. All the time I've spent praying. Not once did I ever feel anything. Just not for me.
Still, I live my life as best I can, and feel if one needs an imaginary father figure watching over them to be a good person, then they clearly are not a good person.
