Easy now - this is private charity, not government overreach. This is the kind of social safety net conservatives should want.

Living in Jackson MI, 75 miles from downtown Detroit I say, take the cell phones, cable, cars that the people can't afford and pay your bills.

I'm actually with you on this one Spidey - this kind of stuff is exactly what society needs more of.
Conservatives and libertarians should support this - its people willingly helping those in need, without state coercion.
