Do the 529s offer any amount match or is just a tax free account? (pre or post earnings?)

very interested in these and would like to start one. I've even heard some states have prepaid plans that let you lock in today's tuition prices but I don't know the best place to start one

Funded post tax, earnings are tax free if used for education-related expenses. Some states offer a tax break if you fund that state's 529 plan as a resident.

LA Start does offer a match based on your AGI. 2-14%. I am receiving 4% match. The higher your AGI the lower your match.
