Just my opinion, but I think Meachem's ability to block in relation to him making the roster is a bit overrated. Sure he's our best blocker at WR, but that's the only thing he does remotely well at this point. Is blocking for a WR enough to make the roster? I'd rather the guy who is better at a WR's primary responsibilities.

When we are talking about the 5th or 6th WR, that's exactly what they need: A skill that sets them apart from all of the other WRs. That could be "Special Teams Ace" or Blocking or Returner. But they need something to set them apart.

Meachem has that.
