The French have always sided against Israel. Basically f them. or should I say a bas a la francais.
When Israel is fighting for its survival so do you think anybody in Israel gives a crap what France says. and yes its well knows France said take our Jews please to the Nazis. unlike the Dutch

Not the Huguenots, though. The French Protestants, or Huguenots, are recognized as the Righteous Among Nations in Israel for what they risked at their religious communes by taking in Jews and rescuing them from Vichy sympathizers.
How about not lumping all people into one basket before presenting the facts.
