Being mentally ill is one thing, but many people create a fake service history to boost their resume. Navy SEAL is the most frequently impersonated, retired SEAL Senior Chief Don Shipley has made it his life's work to ferret out and expose phony SEALs. He gets 50-100 emails a day from people reporting impersonators, his Youtube channel is pretty entertaining.

I've never served, but I love his channel... Dude is hilarious. He also dedicates a lot of his free time (unpaid) to expose these asshats.
