To all of the prior service members here (I'm an Army vet), It's very difficult to make someone understand, If they have never served, what those medals mean and how much respect we, as vets, have for the men and women who sacrificed so much to EARN the privilage of wearing them proudly. Someone said that they were sure they could have been a marine if they chose to do so. Maybe, but you didn't, that means you have no say or valued opinion on what is appropriate regarding the "calling out" of someone pretending to have earned decorations they didn't earn.

You aren't in the military world in public. You are in the civilian world, the general populace most definitely has a say in how you act and respond to others when you enter our world. We are not a military dictatorship.

These guys weren't that bad though, I wouldn't have a problem with it unless the dude is actually screwed up in the head.
