You already know the answer to that.

Northern Louisiana is different; Shreveport wants to be a part of Texas and Monroe is the long lost part of Arkansas. Just the way it is.

I was listening to the NFL network Monday and a caller from Shreveport was on the line; take a guess which team he used the words "our team" for?
Yep, the Cowgirls.

I'm glad you people know all of us in Shreveport so well. frick Texas and frick anyone else who thinks we all want to be a part of Texas. All of my family and friends hate the cowboys with a passion and that hatred was born in me. It is also being instilled in my kids as well. So

Should be publicly shamed for that.

I'm late to the party on this response.

But being from Monroe, I don't think we are a long lost part of Arkansas. That's a very shallow statement to make. You must live in South Louisiana and have never come up here. We are very different from Arkansas.

I've got a friend from the Shreveport area. He is a Cowgirls fan. The reason he is is because it takes a little under 3 hours to get from Shreveport to Dallas. Geographically speaking, he was closer to the Cowboys than the Saints.

I felt like I needed to say that. Ha! I'm a fan of all Louisiana sports teams, except ULL. That's a completely different subject.

I'm extremely excited about the Pels upcoming season and can't wait to see what we do when healthy.
