I said about everything in the other thread.

Stock being publicly hurt them. For 3 straight years well over half the stores hit or exceeded plan. The biggest marketing tool they had was advertisement a pga in each store. You have no idea how big that was. And people do buy clubs each year. Some buy 299 sets some buy brand new. The thing was that after last year being one of the best golf years for dicks ever they added 5-8% to all stores which was retarded. That would be 15-18% from 2 years ago which is unheard of. These pros were also told as long as Ed was CEO there would always be a pro in each store. These pros were lied too and I really hope something happens. I have about 20 close friends who just lost there jobs. They walked in today and was handed a severance package. One week pay every year worked for dicks. Terrible.

Honestly if they would have listened to me and a store manager who was a pro in St Louis they would still have pros. They needed a regional golf pro due to the lack of training pros were getting. Specially the guy in BR.
