So they were in LA and then left? Did you guys not buy enough of their beers?
If you look at Lagunitas, Deschutes, Bear Republic, Firestone Walker, Ballast Point (another underappreciated brewery) and Oskar Blues, which are all in Texas - one of them is going to hit LA first and sell a lot of beer. Everyone else will follow. Looks like Lagunitas may be the first in.

I've been told by a couple people that Bear Republic was never officially here and it was getting in through some sort of backchannel or piggy-backing.
Polly said a while back in a Beer Advocate thread regarding Bear Republic that "it's falling off a Distributors truck onto another Distribuors truck."
