Yeah, saying a guy who is in contention all the time but doesn't win often lacks a killer instinct makes me a moron. Good call.
I don't expect Fowler to win every time he's in contention. I think eventually he'll figure out where he needs to push and when he needs to pace, and he'll win with a little bit of regularity.
"Tried to give Rory a little run at the end," Fowler said, "but just got on the gas a little too late."

You seem really angry.
Having the understanding/experience/instinct to know how to win against the best in big events is pretty important for elite competitors. It is part of "being a better golfer."
He's got the physical tools now. I hope they'll improve as well, but his mental edge and decision making are likely what will be honed the most as he begins to win big tournaments. I don't really care what anyone calls it, but I also don't know why anyone would get as worked up as you are about it.
