Spray Foam Insulation

Looking for anyone who has built a new home and had spray foam insulation installed in the attic. What are your thoughts after having it done and was it worth it? I know the ROI is probably not going to justify it but it certainly seems like a winner if A/C equipment is in the attic. What were your cost per sq feet?

There have been a few threads in the past, google "Tigerdroppings spray foam" and see what you get...

Actual foam? Or the blown in stuff?

My builder does it in every house he builds. The house isn't finished yet but I think it can out to a little over $2/sq foot living. You also have to decide open vs closed cell for the exterior walls, the ceiling should always be open cell due to potential roof leaks.

I just started reading through the threads. I can see all the advantages in the threads but cost per sq ft was the info I was missing. Definitely want to incorporate this into my new home but want to make sure I have done all of my homework before then.
