except horribly written, acted, and directed. The dialogue is just laughable. The scene where they achieve racial reconciliation with the freed slave is absolutely hilarious. It was a poor man's Braveheart.

as a parent of a kid with a seizure disorder, I feel esp. saddened.

and the movie was good, if you take it for what it is. a fictional story about a amercan hero. I mean its an action mel gibson for petes sake, not some deep broadway opera
