Never you mind that. They're children. That's all that's important.

A lot of kids along the border cross for school during the day and go home in the evening. This has long been the case.
Right, and many of these kids are from privileged families in Mexico and pay nothing for schooling.

hey have fences, barbed wire and armed patrols. In the past they have been very strict about not allowing in Guatemalans, even as refugees (see the aforementioned civil war in Guatemala). Now, they are facilitating the safe passage of Guatemalans. So, at the very least, that has changed and is a key part of the change in influx of illegals to the US.
Mexico began reforming its immigration laws in prob 2008 to 2010 due to legitimate criticisms from the US. The effect was more lax border laws, temp visas for Guatemalans working in the south as farm hands and access to the law for protection. Legit stuff considering all the human rights violations occurring. The result was an easier passage Norte. This has been going on for a while. The uptick in unaccompanied minors began in 2008 and is currently reaching these insane levels.
Now, can you address anything, provide any support for your unsubstantiated and factually incorrect claims that this isn't related to drug violence or that they're coming for welfare benefits?

How does the school get paid for these chirren attending school on the U.S. side of the border?
Lot of the parents hold dual citizenship and work on the US side while living on the Mexican side. The border, especially between border towns isn't as bright or angry a line as you'd like it to be. Those people have lived together, separated by only a river for generations...they're not really two different countries.

You still ignored the fact that these people live in Mexico and send their kids to the US everyday for free schooling. Like I stated before, many of these kids are from wealthy families and can afford the finest schooling for their children yet they still send them to the US for free education. I'm surprised a lib such as yourself is vehemently defending subsidizing the rich.

It doesn't and that is a problem and the reason our laws need reforming. But that will be very complex considering that families usually live on both sides of the border.
I'm not here saying that we should open our borders or that illegal immigration presents no problems....it presents tremendous problems that need to be addressed. BUT stacking tanks and troops on the border is not how you do it...it has to be done through the laws. We need a simplified immigration policy and one that permits guest worker permits for unskilled labor - lets the labor flow back and forth across the border, gets these guys from out of the shadows and on to the tax rolls.
One of the main problems with legal immigration right now is over regulation - too much government, too many agencies.
The fix is in the laws - not this unattainable "secure the borders" mantra.
Also it would be helpful if the problem could be addressed factually and not on bullshite.

I addressed it and I'd dispute that they are all from wealthy families that could afford pvt schooling. I think they run the gamut. The wealthy of mexico aren't sending their kid to a public school in El Paso with a bunch or poor mexican-american kids.

Why would a new law prohibit illegals when they are already trampling laws?

Putting troops on the border will restore some semblance of order and allow the Border Patrol to do their jobs. It would put a huge damper in the cartel activity and halt the lawless thugs Mexican troops and police from firing on our people and terrorizing local land owners.
This must be done, along with actual enforcement of the laws we already have. If they cross, march them right back to Mexico.

I like how you misquoted me. I said many of the kids are, not all. And I'm not speaking to the demographics in El Paso, but rather the local border towns in my area.

Your missing the point.

Still missing the point...this isn't about making more prohibitive laws. It's about simplifying, streamlining existing immigration laws (removing burdensome regulation) and providing for a simplified process for unskilled labor. We want them to migrate legally, right now that's practically impossible so they come illegally. This isn't about making them citizens but allowing them in to work, the ability to go home and then come back again for work.

We want them to migrate legally

Unintentional....I'd dispute the many....and what qualifies as "wealthy" at the border??? That's a very poor region from El Paso/Juarez all the way down to Brownsville/Matamoros. And yes I'm leaving out the rest but it's very poor too.

This is about more dem voters because apparently our poor rabble does not breed fast enough for them.

They're only breaking the law because there is no legal option. If they can easily and simply apply for work entry they would, but they can't. If a simple worker visa were available I think you'd see illegal immigration crater...yes some people would still immigrate illegally but it would be minor.
Did you do realize immigration from Mexico was a net negative from 2008 to about 2013? They were leaving faster than they were coming.

Well I'm speaking to those border towns in SE AZ. Whether you dispute it or not, I've spoken to enough locals (born and raised here) who have gone to school with these people who tell me that's the case but I'm sure you're more of an expert on the subject than they are.
