Some prospects don't pan out. I'm sure we could find you slobbing all over some Cubs prospect three years ago that didn't work out.
That's a pretty stupid point. Yeah, DeShields was once an exciting prospect. He hasn't shown shite though and that is why not many cared when the Rangers picked him up in the Rule 5.
