This is compeltely different circumstances.
first, russia intentionally and knowingly downed it. Today? no one has a clue who dunnit.
second, we were toe-to-toe with Russia back then. today? Its Ukraine who is toe-to-toe, and we have NO obligation to them.

Right. The burgers weren't as quite as good in the '80s as they are in 2014.
