It would depend on if Superman could hold Hulk long enough to get him into space until Hulk passed out from lack of Oxygen. WHOOPS I am WRONG. Hulk has survived long term space.

Meh. Hulk would be pretty helpless in space and he's got no significant strength advantage over superman. Superman could push him towards the sun and there's nothing hulk could do about it.

If the fight went to space, the best we could hope for is that one of them would punch Sandra Bullock.

This would be awesome in 3-d. Debateable as to how cool it would be in 2-d

Seems like pushing hulk into the sun would just make him hot and piss him off, no?

How do you know? Fact, Superman has been killed by strength alone without Kryptonite.
Hulk's strength is infinite. They would start out at a stalemate and eventually Hulk's strength would surpass Doomsday.

As for the Sun, given his insane mutating power, we can't even begin to understand what might happen if in infinite rage, the hulk was burned and crushed while undying in the sun while going insane from the pain. While at the same time his cells start mutating under that intense pressure and heat.

For all I know, Hulk could re-emerge from the heart of the Sun more powerful than Galactus probably with an uncontrollable rage which would cause him to destroy Earth.
