i love them.. its like anything else on tv. I watch for entertainment and dont live by it. I know what hunting is to me and how i do it and dont expect results they produce on television

While I do enjoy most hunting shows, I agree that they can be aggravating to watch. I want to see the hunt and the harvest, not 15 minutes of promoting sponsor's products.
If any of you go on Youtube, watch some of Fred Bear's filmed hunts. Fred Bear's hunts were almost a cinematic experience. Whether he was in India, Africa, Canadad, Alaska, etc. etc., he would submerse himself in local culture and tell a story, similar to what Jim Shockey does today. That's why I'm a big fan of Shockey's shows, more for the explorative feeling of the shows.
If you can appreciate historical footage, check this hunt out.
