I won't do documentaries because there are a shite ton of great ones, but for my money CONTROL is the best I've seen.
Sam Riley's performance as Joy Division's Ian Curtis is amazing. Riley along with the other actors actually played their instruments and sang. Filmed in gorgeous black & white. Highly recommend it.
