I think most people feel some compassion for these children, so I think the OP overstates the idea that people are wanting to shoot them. We live in a nation of 330 million people, so you're going to have a few kooks expressing all kinds of crazy opinions. If you don't believe that, just go and read Spiderman Tuba's last 10 posts.

To me, it comes down to a simple matter of America, just like any other country, having the right to both have and enforce laws regarding immigration. We as citizens should also have the right to expect our leaders to take the necessary steps to secure our borders. Sadly, we have reached the point where many on the Left refuse to differentiate between LEGAL AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, and they accuse anyone who does differentiate between the two as being hateful and racist.

Just one more reason why I despise liberals, even though I realize that conservative politicians have betrayed us in this matter, too.
