that's a clichéd way of saying you don't say "frick you" to your fans/audience/customer...it's just not good practice, and all he did was make more people dislike him, more people concerned he won't finish, etc.

regardless, when I say "he seems like a huge cocksucker" it isn't me being entitled because I don't care if he finishes. It is my reasonable opinion based on a guy telling the people who buy and love his work. They didn't make him wealthy, but he wouldn't be without them, so "frick you" is a tad extreme
