re: Civilization 5 : help me not be awful

My only issue with the game is how easy it is to be labeled a warmonger. The Spanish attacked me after we had peace for several eras out of the blue and took one of my less fortified cities because i couldn't get defenses there in time. Well, I get my military to my city and after the second wave of attacks, they try and call for peace. lol no. I took my city back then invaded Spain, took over and razed two of their bigger cities. Then I made them give me almost all of their gold and oil.

Never had any problems from Spain after that but damn if France and the Zulu weren't pissed at me.

I know betrayals happen a lot in Civ but if someone betrays me I'm going to make them feel it and regret it forever
