more info since I visited there. He's on all the money, like every denomination, his picture is in every home and place of business. He also latinized Turkey's alphabet, it used to be more like symbols of Arabic. He is credited with basically modernizing the country and making it what it is today, a secular first world country. Most people think it is third world for some reason too.
